Over the years, some people have told me that they have difficulty using visualization during meditation.
While it is not necessary to use visualization in meditation, it certainly helps to greatly enrich the meditation experience. So, if you're wondering, visualization is the art of forming images in your mind using your imagination. You can then take visualization a step further by visualizing certain things you want in your life, for example, an ideal partner, a new home, or more abundance. By using your imagination, here are some tips and techniques to help you use visualization
in meditation.
Guided meditation is a great way to learn how to meditate and visualizing is easy
Here are some tips to help you use visualization during meditation
Most people can visualize more when they close their eyes.
Relax and don't panic if you don't see anything immediately.
Visualization comes from the right side of the brain. We have to train it sometimes
Consider using visualization as a fun game and don't take it too seriously.
Everyone visualizes differently. There is no wrong or right way to visualize.
• Start by visualizing very simple things (e.g., visualize a pen, a cat, a house, a building) to get started, and as you gain experience, it will develop.
Try with me:
Close your eyes, take slow and comfortable breaths.
Imagine a black rectangular screen.
Then imagine that this screen is a black computer screen.
Now, imagine the screen lighting up.
In the center of the screen, I want you to imagine a circle.
I now want you to fill the circle with red.
Imagine this red circle turning into a fruit.
Congratulations, you have just participated in a visualization exercise. Notice the simplicity!
I wish you good luck.
