Contemplation

Meditation is a way to silence the conscious mind and connect with the subconscious mind, where our deep concepts reside.

Since the subconscious mind controls this process, through meditation (if we wish), we can change our concepts and perspectives.

And our way of dealing with certain matters, and often on much deeper levels than the conscious mind.

The experience of meditation is difficult to explain until you experience it yourself. But it leads you to inner peace, and this is what attracts many to practice meditation.
